가와바타의 전시(戰時) 손바닥소설 —여성의 일상을 통해 드러난 전쟁에 대한 시각—

Abstract

This researcher intended to consider characteristics of Kawabata Yasunari’s 6 wartime tenohirano-syousetsu and Kawabata’s attitude for war system. Wartime tenohirano-syousetsu group takes woman living in wartime as heroine and draws various appearances of storng life. Kawabata said ‘he refused and cooperated to some degree with Japanese wartime for himself’ The time of the work is wartime when is current time of when it was created. In the work, there are farewell of people who are in war place and attitude of women guarding the rear. And, it shows territory recognition for Japan during the wartime . The recognition of realities is rightly the view of wartime Japan. In the novel, there is neither man who acts actively nor battle scene. And, it doesn’t include the contents leading war, so it may not to cooperate with war system. However, the expression of woman who keeps home and enjoys daily life with Japanese sense of territory, wish for war place, etc. may reform sufficiently and console national people. From this standpoint, wartime tenohirano-syousetsu group includes cooperative contents with wartime to some degree beyond the authenticity.
