독일어 화자를 위한 개화기 한국어 교재 『조선어교제문전』의 과제활동 연구

본 연구에서는 1923년 독일인 선교사 에카르트에 의해 저술된 『조선어교제문전』의 <과제> 유형과 내용을 살펴보았다. 『조선어교제문전』의 <과제>는 두 가지 유형으로 구분되었다. 하나는 분절된 문장형태의 유형이고, 다른 하나는 이야기 유형이다. 문장 유형은 단순한 단문에서 시작하여 대화체 문장까지 다양한 형태로 제시되었다. 이야기 유형은 당시 주변에서 듣거나 저자가 알고 있는 우화들이었다. 한국어로 옮겨 보게 하는 <과제>는 다양한 어휘 중에서 어떤 것을 선택할 것인지, 종결어미는 무엇을 쓸 것인지가 모두 밝혀져 있고, 한글음역과 한글 번역은 『조선어교제문전 부주해』라는 별책에 기록되어 있었다. <과제>의 내용을 살펴보면 앞서 설명된 문법 표현과 어휘가 반영되어 있었다. 어휘도 다양하게 반영되어 있었는데, 각 단원의 문법 설명에서 예문으로 제시되었던 단어들뿐만 아니라 주제어휘로 제시된 것들도 다시 한 번 복습하도록 하였다. 이처럼 『조선어교제문전』은 문법과 어휘를 적절히 <과제>에 배치했다는 점에서 큰 의의를 가진다.
Abstract
This study analyzes the <Task> in Korean Language Textbook, which was written by a German. <Task> in the Koreanische Konversations-Grammatik mit Lesestücken und Gesprächen was divided into two types. One is the sentence form, the other is the story type. The sentences consist of short sentences and dialogues. The story type are Fables, that the author heard. The answer is recorded in a separate volume Schlüssel zur Koreanischen Konversations-Grammatik. In Details of the task contain a grammar and vocabulary. In the grammar were presented Conjunctions, Declension and Conjugation etc. The Task activities are discussed everything, what is presented in the grammar. You can see it in the activities contents. In the Lesson 1 and Lesson 2, the Korean and German article is to be compared. Based on this, the article is written in a German in the Lesson 3. After Lesson 4 five types sentence are placed at the end of the sentence. After learning conjunctions the Learners connect sentences in a task. And vocabularies are many and varied and Key words are also reviewed in the <Task>. The vocabulary and grammar is appropriate in the <Task>. Therefor the <Task> of Koreanische Konversations-Grammatik mit Lesestücken und Gesprächen has a great significance.
