로자 룩셈부르크의 『러시아 혁명에 대하여』 재인식: 독일혁명과 연관성을 중심으로

일반적으로 룩셈부르크는 다양한 평가를 받고 있는데 레닌주의와 깊은 관련을 지니고 있다. 따라서 그녀가 볼셰비키혁명을 분석했던 『러시아혁명에 대하여』는 어떤 저서보다도 주목받고 있으며, 특히 이 미완성의 팸플릿은 민주주의를 비타협적으로 고수한 것으로 읽혀지고 있다.그런데 『러시아혁명에 대하여』가 민주주의의 중요성을 제기한 것은 분명하지만, 그녀는 볼셰비키혁명을 방어하고 전진시키기 위해서 독일 노동자계급의 혁명적 진출을 독려하고, 독일혁명을 올바르게 추진하기 위해 볼셰비키의 사회주의 전략과 정치적 조치들을 비판했던 것이다.그녀는 혁명이 대중들의 자각된 행동을 바탕으로 이루어진다고 보고 『러시아혁명에 대하여』의 논리를 스파르타쿠스단의 강령으로 발전시켰다. 이러한 차원에서 볼셰비키와 스파르타쿠스의 차이를 볼 수 있으며, 『러시아혁명에 대하여』가 스파르타쿠스단의 정치적 유산으로 평가되는 것이다.
Abstract
Luxemburg is considered to be an extremist in the history of Marxism, but this is only in relations with Leninism. From “The Russian Revolution” Luxemburg gained a considerable amount of attention through her thoughts on the Bolshevik Revolution and especially the pamphlet which was incomplete showed an uncompromising belief of democracy by Luxemburg. This is considered to be, because Luxemburg looked at the Bolshevik Revolution from the perspective of democracy. It is apparent that “The Russian Revolution” suggests the significance of democracy. However, what is more is that Luxemburg encouraged the revolutionary movement of the German working class to protect and advance the Bolshevik Revolution while criticising the bolshevik revolution at the same time for the encouragement of the German Revolution. Luxemburg’s idea is also cited in the later in the programmes of the German Revolution. She believed that the Socialist Revolution and movement truly comes from the public becoming conscious and developed the logics of “The Russian Revolution” to the Spartacus league. In this way through “The Russian Revolution” the differences of the Bolsheviks and Spartacus league’s perspectives on Socialism were clearly noticed. In addition, “The Russian Revolution” can be valued as a heritage to not only Luxemburg but also the Spartacus league.
