This study is about value and meaning on traditional fairy tale using Kamishibai as a cultural contents. This study use ethnographical approach to re-writing and rehearsal process of Kamishibai. Traditional fairy tale is considered as 'literature for children'. So value of traditional fairy tale is limited in education and emotion of children. But this study consider Kamishibai as not 'cultural content for children' but 'cultural contents for both speaker and audience-children'. Speaker can learn value and role as a storyteller by oral performing traditional fairy tale which reflected their qualification likes the number or linguistic ability. And the value and role can be realized by achieving audience value embodied in text likes folklore and tradition and interest. Though this process, we can re-discover the value of traditional fairy tale using Kamishibai, and can think new possibility of practical use about traditional fairy tale.
