Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the effect of individual adaptability on the satisfaction of remote work. In particular, we tried to identify not only the relationship between personal adaptability and satisfaction with telework, but also the mediating role of the lower level of technological readiness for the telework environment in the relationship between these two factors. As a result of the analysis, it was found that individual adaptability did not have a direct significant effect on telework satisfaction. On the other hand, individual adaptability was found to have a significant effect on optimism and innovativeness, which are sub-dimensions of technological readiness. In addition, optimism, innovation, and anxiety were found to have a significant effect on telework satisfaction. Looking at the results of the mediating effect test, it was found that the individual's adaptability had a significant mediating effect on the satisfaction of remote work through positivity. In addition, the relationship between individual adaptability and telework satisfaction through innovation also showed a significant mediating effect. Therefore, it can be seen that individual adaptability leads to satisfaction through technology readiness rather than directly affecting telework satisfaction.
