Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the dimension of readiness for teleworking and to examine differences according to gender. An independent sample t-test and MANCOVA were conducted to examine the complex effects of gender differences. We adopted the technology readiness dimensions to identify the readiness dimensions for the teleworking environment, and at the same time to determine whether there were differences according to gender. We found that readiness dimensions for remote work are classified into five dimensions: usefulness, optimism, relationship quality, discomfort, and security. As a result of analyzing gender differences, there are significant differences in discomfort and security. However, this study that it does not examine the differences according to the working environment, such as functions (sales vs. customer support), and it is necessary to carry out in a future study.
