본 연구는 유아교사의 아동인권에 대한 메타포를 분석하여 아동인권에 대한 인식과 가치관을 살펴보 는 데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2024년 3월 1주부터 2024년 4월 4주까지 약 두 달에 거쳐 G시와 G도에 거주하고 있는 유아교사 190명을 대상으로 개방형 질문지를 통해 아동인권에 대한 메타포를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동인권을 성인의 관점에서 ‘아동의 삶 그 자체’, ‘우리 모두의 노력’으로 나타났으며 둘째, 아동을 보는 관점으로 ‘권리주체자로서의 아동’, ‘사회적 약자로서의 아동’으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 교사의 관점으로 ‘의무이행자로서의 교사’, ‘사회적 노력을 해야하는 교사’로 나타났으 며, 총 3개의 범주로 분류되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 유아교사의 아동인권에 대한 인식을 살펴보고, 아동인권의 바람직한 구현을 위한 방향에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.
Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze the metaphors of children's rights of early childhood teachers and examine their awareness and values of children's rights. To this end, from the first week of March 2024 to the fourth week of April 2024, we collected and analyzed metaphors of children's rights through an open-ended questionnaire targeting 190 early childhood teachers living in G City and G Province for approximately two months. The results of the study are as follows. First, from the adult's perspective, children's rights were expressed as ‘children's lives themselves’ and ‘our collective efforts’. Second, from the perspective of viewing children, they were expressed as ‘children as rights holders’ and ‘children as socially vulnerable’. Finally, from the teacher's perspective, they were expressed as ‘teachers as duty-bearers’ and ‘teachers who must make social efforts’, and were classified into three categories in total. Through this study, we examined early childhood teachers' awareness of children's rights and suggested implications for the direction of desirable implementation of children's rights.
