사회적 가치가 시대적 화두가 되었으며, 정부정책이나 공공기관 평가에서의 중요성도 커졌다. 그러나 아직 사회적 가치의 의미가 무엇인지, 왜 중요한지에 대해서는 논의가 충분치 않다. 이 글에서는 사회적가치에 대한 기술적이고 미시정책적인 논의 대신, 사회적 가치의 개념, 그 이론적 체계적 맥락에 대한 논의를 전개하였다. 그리고 산업화와 민주화 이후 한국이 직면한 심각한 지속가능성의 위기를 넘어서기 위한 시대적 가치로서 의미가 있다고 보았다.
Abstract
Social values have become a topic of the times, and their importance in government policy and public institution evaluation has increased. Yet there is not enough discussion about what the meaning of social values is and why it is important. In this paper, instead of technical and micro-policy level discussion of social values, the concept of social values and their theoretical and systematic contexts are discussed. And it is intended to find the fundamental source of the social value to overcome the serious crisis of sustainability facing Korea after industrialization and democratization.
