본 연구는 미래사회의 주역이 될 청소년의 생활역량을 향상시키기 위한 목적으로 생활역량 진단척도를 개발하고, 또한 생활역량을 향상시키기 위한 프로그램을 구안하여 실제 적용한 후 이를 평가하는 것을 주된 내용으로 한다. 이를 위해 첫째, 생활역량 개념 및 그 하위체제를 정립하고, 둘째, 생활역량 진단척도를 개발하고, 셋째, 생활역량 진단척도의 내용을 바탕으로 생활역량 프로그램을 개발하고, 넷째, 생활역량 프로그램을 적용·평가하였다. 청소년의 생활역량은 청소년을 생활인으로 보는 관점에서 자신의 삶을 책임지며 생활을 적극적으로 구성해가는 능동적인 존재로서 갖추어야 하는 능력이다. 청소년의 생활역량은 자기성장역량, 자기조절역량, 공동체역량, 상황대처역량, 문제해결역량의 5개 하위영역, 22개의 생활기술, 246개의 문항으로 구성되었다. 생활역량 진단척도를 개발한 후 예비검사를 실시하여 척도를 수정·보완하였고, 또한 생활기술을 단위로 22개의 생활역량 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램은 각 생활기술의 목표에 맞고 청소년의 특성 및 상황을 고려하여 프로그램 내용을 구성하였으며, 프로그램 중 6개 프로그램을 청소년을 대상으로 적용시킨 후 평가하였다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study are as follows: first, to define the concept of life competencies, second, to develop the Tests of Life Competencies for Adolescents, third, to develop programs for enhancing the life competencies of adolescents, and last, to evaluate these life competencies programs. To fulfil these objectives, 246 items were developed in five competency sub-areas: self achievement skills, self control skills, community skills, the skill of coping with dangerous situations, and problem solving skills. 444 subjects in the Busan area participated in the Tests of Life Competencies. Additionally, 22 programs were developed for enhancing adolescents' life competencies and implemented in middle schools. Each program includes three parts, introduction, development, and conclusion. Most of students were satisfied with the contents and methods of the programs. The results of this study could contribute to the measurement and enhancement of adolescents' life competencies in the context of school counseling.
