청소년의 성취목표지향성과 불안이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향

이 연구는 청소년의 성취목표지향과 불안이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 진행되었다. 고등학교 1, 2학년생 총 463명을 대상으로 연구가 진행되었고, 상관분석, 구조방정식모형 분석 방법이 사용되었다. 상관분석 결과로 성취목표지향성과 불안과의 관계에서는 수행접근, 수행회피, 숙달회피가 특성불안, 상태불안과 정적인 상관을 보였고, 숙달접근은 특성불안, 상태불안과 부적인 상관을 보였다. 성취목표지향성과 진로결정수준 사이의 관계 분석결과 수행회피와 숙달회피는 진로결정수준과 부적인 상관을 보이는 것으로 나타났고, 상태불안과 특성불안은 진로결정수준과 부적인 상관을 보였다. 세 가지 주요 변인간의 관계로는 성취목표지향성 중 두 가지 회피지향성(수행회피와 숙달회피)이 불안을 매개로 하여 진로결정수준에 간접적으로 영향을 주는 완전 매개 효과를 확인할 수 있었다.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of four sub-elements of achievement goal orientation (performance approach, performance avoidance, the mastery approach and mastery avoidance) and anxiety levels as they relate to career decision levels in adolescents. Four-hundred sixty-three 10th and 11th graders completed self-report questionnaires in class. The issues of performance approach, performance avoidance and mastery avoidance were positively correlated with trait anxiety and state anxiety, while the mastery approach was negatively correlated with state anxiety and trait anxiety. Performance avoidance and mastery avoidance were negatively correlated with career decision levels. State and trait anxiety levels were negatively correlated with career decision levels. It was found that such sub-factors of avoidance achievement goal orientation as performance avoidance and mastery avoidance tended to affect adolescent's anxiety level negatively which, in turn, has a negative impact upon their career decision levels. Significantly, anxiety was revealed as a full mediating effect between achievement goal orientation and career decision levels.
