본 연구는 대학생들의 문제 음주 경험을 예측하는데 목적을 두고, 음주에 대한 기대가 음주거절효능감과 폭음을 매개로 문제 음주 경험에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 검증하였다. 연구대상은 지난 한 달 동안의 음주경험이 있는 전국 대학생(4년제와 전문대 포함) 3,468명을 대상이며, 설문지를 통하여 조사 분석 하였다. 분석결과, 음주거절효능감은 음주에 대한 기대가 폭음으로 이어지는 경로를 부분 매개하여 음주기대가 바로 문제 음주 경험으로 이어지는 경로를 부분적으로 상쇄하는 것으로 나타났다. 폭음 역시 직접경로 사이에 부분매개로 작용하여 음주에 대한 기대를 부분적으로 상쇄 또는 촉진 시키는 것으로 밝혀졌다.
Abstract
Although alcohol expectancy, drinking refusal self‐efficacy, and binge drinking have been demonstrated to be useful predictors for the onset of alcohol‐related problems, the specificity of these constructs to alcohol‐related problems has not been previously demonstrated among a large sample of college students. For this purpose, this study was conducted in order to investigate whether the direct path from alcohol expectancy to alcohol‐related problems was in any way moderated by drinking refusal self‐efficacy and binge drinking. The participants in this study were 3,468 college students. The results revealed that alcohol expectancy significantly predicted alcohol‐related problems, however, this direct path was partially counterbalanced by drinking refusal self‐efficacy. At the same time, the direct path was also partially moderated by binge drinking.
