폭력노출 청소년의 발달적 적응을 위한 통합적 매개모형 : 폭력노출리질리언스와 환경적 보호요인 중심으로

본 연구는 폭력노출이라고 하는 위험에 노출된 청소년의 발달적 적응에 대한 폭력노출리질리언스와 환경적 보호요인의 매개적 관계를 살펴보았고, 두 매개요인들의 관계를 통해 폭력노출리질리언스의 발달경로를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울·경기지역의 남녀 중고등학생 5,000명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 4,600명을 대상으로 분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 폭력노출리질리언스와 환경적 보호요인이 폭력노출과 청소년의 발달적 적응에 대한 각각의 부분매개모형의 적합도가 양호하였으며, 또한 환경적 보호요인과 청소년의 적응의 폭력노출리질리언스의 부분매개모형의 적합도가 양호하였다. 이러한 결과를 통해, 환경적 보호요인과 폭력노출리질리언스는 개별적으로도 폭력에 노출되었음에도 불구하고 청소년의 적응에 각각 개별적으로 매개적 역할을 하고, 또한 매개적 요인들 간의 인과적 작용을 통해서도 청소년 적응에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 본 연구는 환경적 보호요인과 폭력노출리질리언스의 매개적 역할을 살펴봄으로써 청소년의 적응에 대한 이들의 복잡한 인과적 상호작용을 설명하였고, 이를 통한 다양한 예방 및 조기개입의 근거를 마련하였다고 할 수 있다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating role of violence exposure resilience (VER) and environmental protective factors and the developmental pathway of the VER. This was done through the causal relationship between two mediators. The comprehensive mediation model proposed here included three mediation hypotheses, designed to examine the mediating roles of VER and environmental protective factors. A total of 5,000 middle and high school students were recruited in a district in Seoul and Kyung-gi Province, and 4,600 participants were included in the data analysis. The results indicated that the comprehensive mediation model with the three sub-hypothetical mediating model showed good model fit (RMSEA .063, CFI .978, NFI .977, TLI .906). The VER and the environmental protective factors had a partially mediating role between violence exposure and adaptation of adolescents exposed to violence. Moreover, the VER, influenced as it was by environmental protective factors, in turn had aninfluence on the adaptation by adolescents. Theseresults explained about a great deal about the complicated causal interaction of the two mediators on youth adaptation and this in turn will contribute to the development of various prevention and early intervention methods and techniques.
