농촌 조손가정 청소년을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 개발에 관한 연구

조손가정 청소년의 증가와 이들이 겪는 심리사회적 어려움에도 불구하고 이들을 위한 구조화된 프로그램의 개발이나 평가가 매우 미진한 상황이다. 이에 본 연구는 농촌지역 조손가정 청소년을 위한 멘토링 프로그램 개발을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 대학생 멘토를 활용한 농촌 조손가정 청소년 대상 멘토링 프로그램을 구성하고, 구성된 프로그램을 시범 운영하였다. 시범 운영에 대한 과정 평가 및 탐색적 사전사후 평가를 통해 멘토링 프로그램의 자아존중감 향상에 있어서 유용성을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 농촌지역 조손가정 청소년을 대상으로 한 멘토링 프로그램 내용 구성 및 운영에 있어서 필요한 지침과 함의를 도출하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop a mentoring program for the adolescents of grandparent-grandchildren families in rural areas. This mentoring program was developed through a circular process, which consistedof planning, design, enactment and evaluation. 20 mentors and 20 mentees participated in the mentoring program and the program was run for 4 months. The operation of the mentoring program was investigated and analyzed qualitatively. This was performed usingdocuments written by both the coordinator and mentors. I In terms of the quantitative research, the Wilcoxon Matched-Pairs Signed-Ranks test was used, based on the one group pretest-posttest design. Significant differences were found between pretest and posttest. The posttest of mentees' self-esteem were higher than those evident in the pretest. This research also resulted in a number of important implications which may prove useful in improving mentoring programs for adolescents from grandparent- grandchildren families in rural areas.
