청소년의 스트레스, 자기효능감, 우울과 자살생각의 관계

초록

이 연구의 목적은 청소년의 자살생각과 그 관련변인들 간의 구조적 관계를 가장 잘 설명하는 모형을 검증하여 관련변인들 간의 관계를 고찰하려는 것이다. 이를 위해 청소년 255명에게 인구사회학적 변인과 스트레스 척도, 자기효능감 척도, 우울 척도, 자살생각 척도로 구성된 설문지를 실시하고 SPSS. WIN 15와 AMOS 7.0을 사용하여 자료를 분석 하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 자살생각과 가장 상관이 높은 변인은 우울이며, 그 다음이 스트레스, 자기효능감 이었다. 둘째, 자살생각과 관련변인에서 유의미한 성차가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 스트레스는 자기효능감과 우울을 완전 매개하여 자살생각에 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 넷째, 예측변인들이 기준변인을 설명하는 설명력으로 볼 때, 자살생각은 우울보다 예측하기 어려운 변인이었다. 이 연구의 의의와 그 시사점을 논하고, 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate a structural model which can explain the relationship between adolescents’ suicidal ideation to its related variables. The subjects were 255 high school students. Socio-demographic factors, Stress scales, Self-efficacy scales, Depression scales and Suicidal ideation scales were employed. To process the data, we utilized correlational analysis using SPSS. WIN 15.0, and the hypothetical model testing using AMOS 7.0 were also applied. The results were as follows: First, suicidal ideation was strongly related to depression. Second, there were no significant differences between the genders on suicidal ideation or depression. Third, it was found that the competing model 3 was a better fit to the data than the other models. This meant that self-efficacy was a powerful factor, exerting a strong influence upon the path between stress and suicidal ideation. The findings of this study can contribute significantly to the prevention of suicide in adolescents. Finally, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed together with suggestions for future studies.
