Abstract
The purpose of this study was to structurally analyze the relationship between parents-child relationship, peer relationship, student-teacher relationship, self-efficacy and suicidal ideation. The data were collected from high school students and a total of 705 participants were included in the analysis. Variables was analyzed through the structural equation. Major results were as follows. First, parents-child relationship, peer relationship and student-teacher relationship have a significant influence on the self-efficacy of adolescents. Second, peer relationship showed direct effect on suicidal ideation, but parents-child relationship and student-teacher relationship do not. Third, the effect of parent-child relationship on suicidal ideation was completely mediated by self-efficacy, self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect between peer relationship and suicidal ideation. Base on the results, discussions and implications were provided for preventing suicidal ideation among adolescents.
