Abstract
This study conducted an integrated analysis of domestic creativity research in Korea from 2001 to 2025, using meta-analytic studies as the primary analytical framework. The research period was divided into an accumulation phase(2001–2012), reviewed through existing integrative studies, and an expansion phase(2013–2025), in which meta-analyses were synthesized to estimate overall effect sizes and examine moderating variables. The results indicated that creativity education programs generally demonstrated medium to high effect sizes. The development of fluency showed the strongest effects, suggesting that fluency is the most responsive creativity component to educational interventions. Significant moderating effects were found for instructional duration, school level, region, and gender, with instructional duration showing an inverted U-shaped pattern. Creativity education tended to be more effective for younger learners, although middle school students showed an exception to this trend. When examining the content of the educational programs, studies were found to span a wide range of fields, including music, mathematics, and interdisciplinary areas. In addition, correlational meta-analyses confirmed the importance of both cognitive and affective factors in creativity development. Overall, the results provide strong evidence that creativity can be enhanced through education and highlight the need for context-sensitive instructional design
