초록
Persistent trigeminal artery (PTA) is the most common type of persistent carotid-basilar arterial anastomosis. This anomaly is present in 0.1% to 0.6% of patients who undergo cerebral angiograms. The diagnosis of PTA could only be made by cerebral angiography before the development of MRI. We report a PTA identified incidentally on routine MRI in a patient with meningoencephalitis. Korean Journal of Stroke 2002;4(1): 61~64
