기독교 신앙교육은 인간의 전인격성(全人格性)에 기초한 돌봄이어야 한다. 왜냐하면 기독교 교육의 이론적 토대가 되는 성경은 인간을 지정의(知情意)라는 통합적 인격체로 이해하고 있고, 이러한 인간의 전인성 회복에 관심을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 코메니우스의 인간론(하나님 형상론)을 분석하고 이에 근거하여 전인적 신앙교육의 방향성을 제시하였다. 먼저 서론에서는 코메니우스 인간이해에 대한 연구가 기독교 토대연구로써의 중요함을 제시하였다. 본론에서는 전인으로써의 하나님 형상에 대한 코메니우스의 인간이해를 다루었다. 그는 하나님 형상으로써의 인간을 ‘이성적 피조물’(知)이요, ‘하나님의 대리자’(情)요, ‘자유의지를 지닌 존재’(意)로 이해하였다. 이에 그는 ‘지성’, ‘덕성’, ‘경건성’을 인간의 본성을 이루고 있는 전인적 요소로 보았고, 이 지성과 덕성과 경건성 속에는 인간을 둘러싸고 있는 모든 존재자들(하나님, 인간, 자연사물)을 이해하고 이들과의 관계성을 회복할 수 있는 능력 또한 지니고 있다고 보았다. 이렇게 본론에서는 지정의를 통한 전인적 신앙교육의 중요성을 피력하였다. 마지막으로 결론에서는 전인적 신앙교육의 방향성에 대해 제시하였다. 즉 전인적 신앙교육의 목표는 인간의 하나님 형상회복에 있고, 교육과제는 인간의 지성과 덕성과 신앙심을 일깨우고 계발시켜 자신을 둘러싸고 있는 모든 존재자들과의 관계성을 회복하는데 있으며, 교육내용은 지성과 덕성과 경건성 계발과 연관되어야 하며, 교육방법은 인간의 지정의를 고려한 것이어야 함을 주장하였다. 이렇게 본 논문에서는 하나님 형상론에 근거한 코메니우스의 인간이해를 통해 전인적 신앙교육의 필요성과 중요성 및 방향성에 대해 다루었다.
Abstract
This thesis emphasizes that Christian Education should be the care based on human's whole personality. Because the Bible, the foundation of Christian educational theory, understands the human as integral being of the intellect, the emotion and the will. First of all, this thesis looked into the thought of Comenius' Imago Dei, who insisted the restoration of the human nature as Imago Dei through an education for the whole man. He understood 'human as Imago Dei' as 'rational being', 'God's representative' and 'Being of having free will'. Therefore he saw 'intellect', 'virtue' and 'piety' as the wholistic elements composing the nature of human, and in these three elements there is the capacity which can understand all beings(God, human being, natural things) around the human and restore the relationship with them. So in this main chapter it was emphasized the importance of the whole personal christian education through the 'intellect', the 'emotion' and the 'will'. Finally the direction of the wholistic christian education was talked in conclusion. Namely the goal of the wholistic christian educational is to restore human nature to Imago Dei; educational task to awaken and develop intellect, virtue, and piety in human in oder to restore the relationship with all beings in the world; educational contents should be connected to the development of 'intellect', 'virtue' and 'piety'; educational method should consider the intellect, the emotion and the will of human. This thesis introduced the necessity and the importance of the christian education for the whole man through the Imago Dei based on Comenius' anthropology.
