위기로 인한 갈등을 신앙으로 승화시킨 이그나티우스의 멘토링 연구

1세기 사도들의 중심역할이 교회를 세우는 것이었다면 2세기의 교부들은 교회와 성도들을 돌보는 사역을 중심으로 하게 된다. 당시 교부들이 사역하던 2세기에는 교회와 성도들이 로마와 이단과 갈등의 구조를 이루고 있었다. 여기에 대해 이그나티우스의 일곱 서신은 당면한 위기를 어떻게 극복할 것인지 그 길을 교회와 성도들에게 가르쳐주고 있다. 갈등의 극복에 대해 그는 크게 두 가지로 그 길을 제시한다. 이단으로 인한 갈등의 문제에 대해서는 분명한 교리적 입장을 제시한다. 그리고 고난에 따른 갈등의 문제는 신앙으로 환경을 이겨나가도록 용기를 주고 격려도 한다. 여기에서 우리는 이그나티우스의 뛰어난 멘토링을 만나게 된다. 이그나티우스가 기록한 일곱 서신의 중심은 그리스도론이다. 이처럼 그의 멘토링 역시 그리스도론이 중심을 이룬다. 그리스도론은 사도들로부터 가르침을 받은 그의 신앙과 신학이었으며, 그것은 교회와 성도들을 이끌어가는 그의 멘토링이었다. 이그나티우스는 이론과 생각보다 사실에 따른 접근법을 사용하고 있다. 그가 제시하는 십자가의 길은 위기에 빠져 있는 교회와 성도들을 건강하게 세워나가는 멘토링이었다. 이그나티우스의 멘토링은 당면한 문제로 발생한 고난과 갈등을 신앙으로 승화시킨다. 우리는 위기의 시대를 살아가고 있다. 세속화와 코로나로 신앙이 위협당하고 있다. 시대에 따른 차이는 있다. 그러나 이그나티우스의 멘토링은 세속화와 코로나의 위기를 맞이하고 있는 이 시대의 교회와 성도들을 향해 중요한 메시지를 주고 있다.
Abstract
While the central role of the apostles in the 1st century was to build the church, the church fathers in the 2nd century were centered in the ministry of caring for the church and believers. At that time, when the church fathers were ministering in the 2nd century, the church and the believers were in a structure of heresy and conflict with Rome. In this regard, the seven epistles of Ignatius teach the church and the believers how to overcome the crisis they are facing. For overcoming conflict, he suggests two ways. It presents a clear doctrinal position on the issue of conflict caused by heresy. And the problem of conflict caused by suffering gives courage and encouragement to overcome the environment with faith. Here we meet Ignatius' outstanding mentoring. Central to the seven epistles written by Ignatius is Christology. As such, his mentoring is also central to Christology. Christology was his faith and theology taught by the apostles, and it was his mentoring to lead the church and the believers. Ignatius uses a fact-based approach rather than theory and thought. The way of the cross he suggests was mentoring to build up healthy churches and members in crisis. Ignatius' mentoring sublimates the hardships and conflicts caused by the immediate problem into faith. We are living in a time of crisis. Faith is threatened by secularization and Corona. There are differences according to the times. However, Ignatius' mentoring is giving an important message to the church and believers of this age who are facing the crisis of secularization and Corona.
