본 연구는 한국사회에서 다문화 실천 역량을 구비한 사회복지전문가 배출의 토대구축을 위해 사회복지전공학생을 위한 다문화 효능감 척도 개발목적으로 진행되었다. 한국판 문화적 역량 척도(33개 지표)를 사회복지전공학생에게 적용 가능한 효능감척도로 수정하여 511명의 분석자료에 대해 교차타당화 방식을 적용하여, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 총 28개 지표가 최종 채택되었으며 척도 타당화 과정을 통해 ‘다문화인식 효능감(4문항)’, ‘다문화태도 효능감(11문항)’, ‘다문화지식 효능감(6문항)’, ‘다문화기술 효능감(7문항)’의 4개 하위개념으로 구성된 다문화 효능감 척도를 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study develops a multicultural efficacy measure and examines the validation of the measure to turn out many excellent social welfare professionals with multicultural practice competence. Korean Cultural Competence Measure (33 items) was modified to construct a multicultural efficacy measure for social welfare students. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis were conducted with cross-validation analysis of 511 cases. The result of measure validation analysis confirms the multicultural efficacy measure that consists of four component factors and 28 items: multicultural attitude efficacy (11 items), multicultural knowledge efficacy (6 items), multicultural skill efficacy (7 items), multicultural awareness efficacy (4 items).
