본 연구의 목적은 사회복지관 이용자의 소득에 따른 문화활동 참여 및 문화시설 이용정도에 미치는 영향을 분석을 하고자 한다. 연구대상은 서울시 소재 사회복지관을 이용하는 남녀 400명을 대상으로 2014년 5월 5일부터 11월 5일 까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석방법은 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 카이스케어 검정, 일원변량분석, 다중범위검정 등을 실시하여 분석하였으며 유의수준 5%에서 검증하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 가구 월 소득에 따라 문화활동 이용특성에 유의미하게 나타났다. 둘째, 가구 월 소득이 낮을수록 간접적인 문화활동 참여정도가 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 가구 월 소득이 낮을수록 간접적인 문화활동 이용욕구가 낮게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 가구의 월 소득에 따라 문화활동의 차이가 나타났으며, 가구의 월 소득이 낮을수록 문화활동 참여도와 참여욕구가 낮다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구의 시사점은 가구의 소득에 따라 문화활동 및 문화시설 참여도를 향상시키기 위한 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료 된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence that the income of visitors of social welfare centers has on cultural activity participation and use of cultural facilities. For this study, a survey was conducted on 400 male and female visitors of social welfare centers in Seoul from May 5 to November 5, 2014. The analysis was made using the SPSS program to conduct the frequency analysis, Caystrus conditioning test, one-way analysis of variance, Scheffes multiple range test, etc., and was verified with a significance level of 5%. The research results showed that, first, the characteristics of participation in cultural activities were relevant to a household’s monthly income. Second, the level of indirect cultural activity participation revealed to be low the lower the household’s monthly income. Third, the desire to use indirect cultural activity was low the lower the household’s monthly income. These results show that the level of participation in cultural activities varies depending on the level of household’s income, the lower the income, the lower the participation and desire. The implications of this study are expected to become basic data for the improvement of the level of participation in cultural activities and cultural facilities depending on a household’s monthly income.
