본 연구는 학생들의 특기와 적성을 고려하면서 지역사회 유관기관의 다양한 인적, 물적 인프라 확장을 위해 우리나라 방과후 토요프로그램의 현황과 성과, 문제점을 탐색하고 토요프로그램 질 제고 방안을 논의하였다. 또한 지자체 및 지역사회 유관기관과 연계협력하는 방법, 더불어 우리나라의 방과후 토요프로그램 질 제고 정책에 주는 의미와 시사점을 제안하였다. 방과후 토요프로그램에 관한 기존 데이터 및 자료분석 결과 지역사회 유관기관 연계협력이 활발하게 이루어지고 있고 그 성과도 상당히 우수함을 보여준다. 이를 통해 학생들에게 가족과 함께하는 시간이 늘었으며, 학교 공부 부담이 줄고, 프로그램의 다양화로 체험활동이나 문화생활의 기회가 증가하였으며, 수요자의 만족도, 즉 학생, 학부모 교사 만족도도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 주요한 연구결과로는 첫째, 다양한 토요 체험활동의 안전 및 질제고 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 둘째, 지역사회 ‘가칭, 해피 페스포드’이다. 셋째, 안정적 정착을 위해서는 소외계층 및 취약계층 학생에 대한 배려이다. 넷째, 다양한 교육기회와 도움을 제공이다. 이러한 결과를 통해 지자체-지역사회 유관기관-학교가 연계협력하여 함께 토요프로그램 인프라 마련에 중심역할을 해야 할 것이며 특성화된 토요프로그램의 활성화를 위한 기초 자료를 제공하고 질 제고를 위한 실천적 대안을 제시했다.
Abstract
This study considering students‘ special abilities and aptitudes. It discusses Saturdayprogram improvement and a quality plan to explore problems with Korean Saturday after-school programs. This study also, It suggests various methods of connected cooperation with local government and Local community related organization. The result of the existing data and material analysis concerning after school Saturday programs,consists of Local community related organizations connected in cooperation. Through the Saturday program, there is an increase in time with family for students and a decreased burden of school studies. Also an increase opportunity for the cultural life or activity experience. Furthermore user's(students,parents,teachers) satisfaction showed higher satisfaction levels. There are four main research results. First, various Saturday activities for experience must be safe with improved quality plan. Second, Local a community provisional name 'Happy Passport' was good. Third, underprivileged students need a stable home environment and position with is society. fourth, offer various education opportunies and help. From these results, basic information for effective operation of differentiated Saturday program was provided and practical alternatives to increase its quality were achiveted.
