유아의 동물 선호도 및 인식과 지식습득과정에 관한 연구

본 연구는 만3,4,5,세 유아 120명을 대상으로 유아의 동물에 관한 인식은 어떻게 발달하며 어떠한 경험과 지식을 통해 동물을 인식하는지를 살펴보고, 성별에 따라 동물에 대한 인식과 지식습득과정, 유해 인식은 어떠한가를 알아보고자 하였다. 동물은 연구대상 유아들의 수준에 맞추어 일상생활에서 쉽게 접할 수 있는 그림이나, 책, 영상, 캐릭터, 실물 등 을 통해 선정하였으며, 모두가 알고 있으며, 종이나 성격이 다른 30가지 동물을 선정하였다. 연구도구는 동물선호도는 체크리스트를 활용하였으며, 지식습득 과정은 알게 된 이유에 대하여 묻고 기술하도록 제작되었으며, 유아들의 반응은 기록지에 기록하는 동시에 녹음기로 녹음하여 분석에 활용하였다. 연구결과 유아의 동물 선호도는 성별과 연령별 모두 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 동물에 대한 유해판단여부 결과는 성별에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났으나 연령에 따라서는 유의하지 않는 결과가 나왔다. 동물에 대한 지식습득 과정은 성별과 연령별 모두 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This research studied 120 Infant aged 3 to 5 years old, awareness about animal of infants examine through how developed and which experience and knowledge need, and the research want to know how change the awareness, knowledge acquisition and harmful awareness about animal according to gender. The animals were selected through a picture or books, images, characters, etc that can be easily accessed in real life, in accordance with the level of infants who targeted this research, and were selected as 30 animal by different kind of species and nature, everyone knows. Research tools were utilized the checklists for preference of animals, and question and description about way to know for knowledge acquisition process, and recording on paper, at the same time, recoding in the recorder for response of infants. Results of the research, there are significant differences in the animal preferences of infants both of genders and ages partly. In the result of whether harmful judgment for the animals, there is significant differences according to genders, but not to the ages. Knowledge acquisition process about the animals showed a significant difference both of genders and ages partly.
