본 연구는 유아의 스마트폰 사용중독이 발달 행동에 미치는 영향력을 밝히는데 목적을 갖고 대전지역소재 유아교육기관 부모 196명을 대상으로 실증 조사하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 유아의 스마트폰 이용은 발달 행동 유아의 주의 산만에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타냈다. 둘째, 유아 부모의 스마트폰 이용은 발달 행동 유아의 공격성에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타냈다. 셋째, 유아 부모의 스마트폰 관리감독은 발달 행동 유아의 우울·불안에 유의적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타냈다. 전체적으로 유아의 스마트폰 중독 성향이 강할수록 발달 행동 또한 높은 것으로 나타났으며 이는 유아 자신의 스마트폰 이용 경향이 높고 부모의 이용률이 높으며 유아에 직접적인 관리감독이나 통제 우울·불안으로 이어져 종국적으로 유아 자신과 부모의 스마트폰 이용경험이 높을수록 중독 성향 또한 높아지고 주의 산만한 불안·우울이나 공격적 성향을 높이는 기제임을 실증해 주었다.
Abstract
This study is intended to look into the effect of young children's smartphone addiction on their problem behaviors. To achieve this, a survey was empirically carried out to 196 parents in early childhood education centers in Daejeon. As for the findings, First, young children's use of smartphone had a significant effect on the distraction of them with problem behavior. Second, their parents' use of smartphone had a significant effect on the aggression of them with problem behavior. Third, their parents' superintendence of smartphone had a significant effect on the depression and anxiety of them with problem behavior. young children's problem behaviors increased along with their smartphone addiction. In other words, not only do young children have a high tendency to use their smartphones, their parents have a high rate of smartphones use, resulting in the direct superintendence or control of young children, their depression and anxiety. Consequently, young children's smartphone addiction can be a mechanism that increases their inattentive anxiety and depression or their aggressive inclination.
