본 연구는 영유아기 스마트폰 사용 실태 관련 연구문헌들을 분석할 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구대상 논문은 2006년부터 2016년까지 지난 10년간 국내에서 발표된 석·박사 학위논문과 학술지에 발표된, 영유아기 스마트폰 사용과 관련된 40편중에서 중복된 내용을 제외한 27편의 논문이다. 연구문제는 첫째, 영유아 스마트폰 사용 시기와 시간, 용도와 빈도에 관한 연구는 어떠한가? 둘째, 영유아 스마트폰 사용에 관한 부모 연관성관련 연구결과는 어떠한가? 셋째, 영유아 스마트폰 사용에 관한 과 몰입과 예방에 관한 연구결과들은 어떠한가?분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영유아기 스마트폰에 노출되는 연령은 점차 낮아지고 있으며, 평균사용시간은 주1~2회, 1회 20~30분이며 주로 주말에 사용하였다. 둘째, 영유아는 처음 부모를 통해 스마트폰을 접하게 되며, 주 양육자인 어머니의 스마트폰 사용 실태에 따라 많은 영향을 받았다. 셋째, 영유아 스마트폰 과 몰입과 예방에 관한 문헌연구 결과, 유아기 과 몰입 영향은 충동성과 공격성이 발현되며 연령이 증가할수록 그러한 증상이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 그래서 영유아기 스마트폰 사용실태 관련연구 분석 결과는 영유아 아동의 건강한 발달을 위해서는, 부모·교사 그리고 국가 사회적 차원에서의 철저한 예방교육프로그램의 실시가 시급하다는 것을 구체적으로 확증하였다.
Abstract
This study was conducted to analyze research done on childhood smartphone usage. Target research papers were the 27 papers out of 40, excluding redundant ones, on childhood smartphone usage published on master doctorate dissertation and journals during 10 years from the year 2006 to 2016. Research topics were as follows: First, how was research conducted on childhood smartphone usage period and time, purpose and frequency? Second, how is parental correlation research regarding childhood smartphone usage? Third, how are research results on indulgence of smartphone use of infants and prevention?Analysis results were as follows: First, the age when infants are exposed to smartphone is lowering; average usage time was 1-2 times a week, 20-30 minutes a time. Second, infants were initially exposed to smartphones through parents; significantly affected by their main supporters, mothers. Third, as a result from the research on childhood smartphone indulgence and prevention, childhood indulgence effects such as impulsiveness and aggressiveness showed a positive correlation with age. As a result of this analysis on research done on childhood smartphone usage, there was concrete evidence that there is a dire need for strict prevention education in parent, educator, and national levels in order for a healthy development of infants.
