Abstract
This study is to research the intervention effects for chronic stroke patient's functional movement. To achieve the goal, test took place 3times a week for 4 weeks, 7 stroke patients participated in trunk control training for functional movements, control group, 7 stroke patients participated in general physical therapy. the evaluation of functional movements was divided in to trunk control and dynamic balance. TIS and PASS-TC were used for trunk control, TUG and BBS were used for dynamic balance before and after intervention. TIS and PASS-TC were significantly improved in experimental group after the intervention, and the experimental group was significantly improve in the change between the groups. TUG and BBS were significantly improved in both groups, and the experimental group was significantly improve in the change between the groups. result of research, the trunk control training applied to improve functional movements of chronic stroke patient is effective to improve functional movements. as a result, trunk control training has been shown to be more effective than general physical therapy for functional movements in chronic stroke patients.
