아동양육시설 보호아동의 애착 연구 개관

본 연구는 아동양육시설 입소아동들의 애착유형, 애착유형과 문제행동과의 관계, 그리고 애착 이외에 문제행동에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악하기 위해 수행되었다. 분석대상은 2000년부터 2016년까지 발표된 논문 중에서 본 연구문제와 관련성이 높은 10편을 대상으로 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시설아동과 일반아동의 애착유형은 시설아동이 안정형 애착비율이 낮고, 회피형 애착이 양가형 애착보다 높게 나타났다는 연구와 집단 간 유의한 차이가 없다는 상반된 연구결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 안정형 애착은 아동의 여러 영역의 발달과 정적 관계에 있었으며 회피형이나 불안양가형이 심리․정서문제 및 문제행동을 더 많이 경험하는 것으로 나타났지만 그렇지 않은 연구 결과도 제시되고 있어 실증연구들이 더 진행되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 셋째, 애착 이외에 시설아동의 문제행동에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보면 시설규모, 입소연령과 입소기간, 보육사의 근무형태와 만족도 등의 시설환경요인과 아동의 성별, 기질 등의 개인요인, 원가족과의 관계 등 가족 요인이 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 시설아동의 애착증진을 위한 실천개입 방향 및 후속연구를 위한 과제 등이 논의되었다.
Abstract
The purposes of this study were to examine attachment styles of institutionalized children and to explore whether attachment styles were related to problem behaviors of these children. And we also tried to examine the factors which were related to problem behaviors. This study analyzed 10 journal articles and studies on attachment and problem behaviors of institutionalized children which had been published from 2000 to 2016. The results were as follows. First, there were conflicting results about whether attachment styles of institutionalized children were different from those of general children. Second, positive attachment were related to problem behaviors in most studies. Third, except for attachment style, there were three kinds of factors which were related to problem behaviors; individual, family and organizational factor. Implications and issues were discussed in relation to intervention focusing on attachment and future attachment researches.
