간호학생의 전문직 자아개념과 전공만족도： 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과

본 연구는 간호학생의 전문직 자아개념과 전공만족도와의 관계에서 학업적 자기효능감의 매개효과를 규명하는 서술적 조사연구이다. 2017년 10월 19일부터 23일까지 137명의 간호학생을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였으며, 자료는 기술통계, 상관분석, Baron & Kenny 단계를 사용한 다중 회귀분석을 사용하여 분석하였다. 전문직 자아개념, 학업적 자기효능감, 전공만족도의 평균 점수는 각각 3.02, 3.81, 및 4.01이었다. 전문직 자아개념, 학업적 자기효능감, 및 전공만족도 간에 유의한 상관관계가 있었다. 전문직 자아개념이 학업적 자기효능감(R2=35.8%)에 직접적인 영향을 주었으며, 전공만족도에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤다(R2=35.3%). 전문직 자아개념과 학업적 자기효능감이 전공만족도의 유의한 예측요인으로 나타났으며(R2=36.8%), 학업적 자기효능감은 전문직 자아개념과 전공만족도와의 관계에서 부분 매개효과(β=0.18, p<.05)를 보였다(Sobel test: Z=2.05, p<.05). 결론: 이러한 결과를 토대로 간호학생의 전공만족도를 높이기 위해서는 전문직 자아개념과 더불어 학업적 자기효능감을 함께 증진시킬 수 있는 전략이 필요하다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy in the relationship between professional self-concept and major satisfaction among nursing students. Methods: Data were collected from 137 nursing students from October 19 to 23, 2017. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression using Baron and Kenny steps for mediation. Results: The mean scores of professional self-concept, academic self-efficacy, and major satisfaction were 3.02, 3.81, and 4.01, respectively. There was a significant correlations among professional self-concept, major satisfaction, and academic self-efficacy. Academic self-efficacy was directly affected by professional self-concept(R2=35.8%). Majorsatisfaction was directly affected by professionalself-concept (R2=35.3%). Professional self-concept and academic self-efficacy impacted reported major satisfaction(R2=36.8%). Academic self-efficacy had a partial mediating effect(β=.18, p<.05) in the relationship between professional self-concept and major satisfaction(Sobel test: Z=2.05, p<.05). Conclusion: Based on the results, in order to increase the major satisfaction of nursing students, a professional self-concept and a strategy to enhance academic self-efficacy are needed.
