간호대학생의 자기효능감과 간호사이미지의 관계에서 전공만족도의 매개효과

본 연구는 간호대학생의 자기효능감, 전공만족도, 간호사이미지간의 관계를 알아보고 자기효능감과 간호사이미지간의 관계에서 매개변수로서 전공만족도의 효과를 규명하기 위한 목적으로 시도된 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 연구의 자료수집 기간은 2011년 10월 4일부터 7일까지였으며, 경남소재의 일개 대학 3년제 간호과 학생 중, 연구에 참여하기로 동의한 277명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 간호대학생의 자기효능감은 평균 3.38점, 전공만족도는 평균 3.57점이었으며, 간호사이미지 정도는 평균 3.58점이었다. 자기효능감은 학년(F=6.50, p=.002), 학교 성적(F=10.00, p<.001), 학과선택(F=4.03, p=.003), 임상실습(t=2.53, p=.012)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 전공만족도는 성별(t=2.04, p=.042), 학교 성적(F=9.08, p<.001), 학과 선택(F=5.17, p<.001)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 간호사이미지는 성별(t=3.14, p=.002), 학과 선택(F=4.86, p<.001), 임상실습 경험(t=-2.45, p=.015)에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 자기효능감과 전공만족도는 정적 상관관계(r=.407, p<.001), 자기효능감과 간호사이미지는 정적 상관관계(r=.2.91, p<.001)를 보였으며, 전공만족도와 간호사이미지도 정적 상관관계(r=.649, p<.001)를 보여 세 변수 간에는 모두 양의 상관관계가 나타났다. 간호대학생의 자기효능감과 간호사이미지 간의 관계에서 전공만족도는 완전매개효과를 나타내었다.
Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine self-efficacy, satisfaction in major, nurse’s image of nursing students, and mediating effect of satisfaction in major on the relationship between self-efficacy and nurse’s image. Methods: Data were collected from 4th to the 7th of October in 2011, from 277 nursing students in Gyeongnam area using questionnaire, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation efficient were used for data analysis. Results: There were statistically positive relationships between self-efficacy, satisfaction in major, and nurse’s image of nursing students. Satisfaction in major was found to completely mediate the relationship between self-efficacy and nurse’s image. Conclusion: Self-efficacy exerted an influence on nurse’s image through the mediating effect of satisfaction in major.
