Abstract
As North Korea’s nuclear development progresses, it becomes more difficult to attract cooperation with China, which has a key role in dealing with the North Korean nuclear issue. The international community is facing a paradox that it is difficult to maintain efficient cooperation in the face of disagreements over the solution. And this situation is what North Korea wants. Therefore, it is necessary to elucidate the ways in which the international community can draw up effective cooperation based on the necessity to cooperate with the North Korean nuclear crisis. In particular, it is necessary to examine what measures can be taken to promote China’s cooperation with the international community. In this article, I will examine how North Korea has changed its perceptions and strategies on the North Korean nuclear issue in the course of the imminent change in the status of nuclear armed forces, and by looking for ways to lead China’s role and develop effective international cooperation.
