Abstract

This article tries to examine the process of the Silla's advance of the Han River Area, and the Sinju's rule system and it's transition. Silla advanced the Han River Area in 551 on the base of the Chungju and Cheongju Area. It occupied not only the upper area but also the lower area of the Han River in 553 at last, and after the Silla government have been established Sinju at there, ruled over it's territory. It separated Sinju's territory into Hansanju and Uduju in 6th year of the Queen Seondeog's Reign (637). After that time, Hansanju's territory was expanded as Silla advanced northward. Gunju that was designed by the Silla government played the role of the provincial governor which transacted the Sinju's Local administration since the Ju-Haengsadaedeung dispatched at Sinju between the 16th year(555) and the 22th(561) of the King Jinheung's Reign. At that Time, Sinju's Local Administration System was run on the base of the Ju-haengsadaedeung and the Dangju(幢主) and Nadu(邏頭), Dosa(道使) which were dispatched the administrative village. By the way, the Silla government began to promote the operations that a part of the administrative village where was located the border of the Hansanju restructured the Hyeon(縣) from the first half of 7th century in the reign of the King Jinpyeong. At the same time, We found out that it dispatched the Taesu(太守) at the County(郡). After the administrative village in whole Ju restructured the Hyeon and dispatched the Taesu all the County in the reign of the King Sinmun, the Local Administration System that was run on the base of the Ju and the County, Hyeon was made up completely at last. Meanwhile the Gunju commanded the Marching Corps that organized on the base of the Ju until the reign of the King Jinpyeong. But The Gunju began to be excluded the command system of that one from the reign of the Queen Seondeog. Eventually, Gunju that was appointed at the Ju's provincial governor was excluded completely the application system of the Six-Stationary Corps(6停軍團). It was estimated that this operations and separating the Sinju into the Hansanju and the Uduju corerated with the the operations that Hansanju's Local Rule system been run on the base of the Ju and the administrative village restructured that one been run on the base of the Ju and the County, Hyeon.
