Abstract

On Some Changes of Paradigm in Japanese Education and its Influence to Korean Learners of Japanese Japanese Education in Korea has been developed since 1960. At the begining stage, it has begun in higher education and gradually broadened middle school and high school levels. It is common for Japanese learners to hear "some changes of paradigm in Japanese education " Japanese education as well as the other foreign languges education, are facing some new situations and new needs of learners. In this study I have made a general review on what kinds of changes has been appeared and what are the backgrounds of those changes and new trends. Some typical changes can be summed up as followes: (1) Variety of learners of Japanese and their needs towards learning of Japanese (2) Growing role of non-native teachers in Korean and the need to support them (3)The participation of social organizations and volunteer groups in Japanese language teaching (4)Relationship between language learning and understanding ofdifferent cultures (5)Sharing and exchange of information I have made my conclusion by suggesting the necessity of some policies of Japanese educarion in Korea.
