本稿では日本の20世紀初頭の新語を対象にして現代日本語と現代韓国語 の辞典における登載可否を分析した。調査対象語の日本語辞典での登載比 率は54.2％、韓国語辞典での登載比率は60.4％であった。また、日本語と韓国語辞典に両方とも載っている比率は46.6%であった。それは日本の20 世紀初頭の新語が現代日本語と現代韓国語の辞典に載っている割合である ということを考えると非常に高い比率である。このことは20世紀初めごろ の日本語が韓国語にかなり受容されたことを意味していると言える。 辞典の搭載類型による実例を見ると日本語辞典と韓国語辞典に載ってい る場合は専門用語から日常で使われる馴染みのある語まであった。日本語 辞典にも韓国語辞典にも載っていない場合は20世紀初めごろの新しい物や 社会的、政治的事件事故を表す語が多数確認された。日本語辞典のみに 載っている語は日本の社会文化的特徴を表す語が見られた。韓国語辞典の みに載っている場合は日本語辞典には同一の意味の異なる語が載っていた り、または日本語の表記問題のことで日本語辞典にはそのまま載っていな かったが、実際には載っていると扱わなければならない語が多数あった。 特に外来語がその傾向が強かった。
Abstract
In this paper, I analyzed registration of Japanese new words, which developed in early 20 century, in modern Japanese dictionary and in modern Korean dictionary. Registration ratios of target words in Japanese dictionary and in Korean dictionary were 54.2% and 60.4%, respectively. Registration ratio of target words in both Japanese dictionary and Korean dictionary was 46.6% which shows the highest registration ratio in 4 registration type (registration in both Japanese dictionary and Korean dictionary, registration in either in Japanese dictionary or Korean dictionary, registration in neither in Japanese dictionary nor Korean dictionary). Registration ratio of chinese target words in both Japanese dictionary and Korean dictionary was 52.4% which show higher registration ratio than other word types and this ratio should be very high considering registration ratio of early 20 century new words in both modern Japanese dictionary and modern Korean dictionary.
