This paper analyzes regarding the syntactic difference between 「nanka」 and 「nante」 whether or not the image of a noun which connects the front and back of 「nanka」 and 「nante」, adjective, and other conjugated forms is minus, and classifies their meanings based on that. Also the study analyzes the relationship of case particle between 「nanka」 and 「nante」. As a result of analyzing any difference between 「nanka」 and 「nante」 in accordance with the conjunction order of particle, it was discovered that nanka」 has the character of 「hukujoshi」 whereas 「nante」 has the character of 「kakarijoshi」. 「Nanka」 originally has the characteristics of hukujoshi; however as it came to have the meaning of negative emphasis, it has the characteristics of kakarijoshi, whereas 「nante」 has the characters of kakarijoshi which is in a statement relationship with a predicate part. However as it came to have an euphemistic meaning, it is supposed to have the characteristics of hukujoshi.
