Abstract

The employment crisis in Korean society is prolonged and is in serious trouble. In particular, the employment problem among young people is an important issue, and overseas employment is being considered as part of these measures. The employment crisis in Korea is a harsh reality that young people and job seekers in modern society must bear. This study conducted an interview survey on ‘consciousness about employment in Korea’ and ‘consciousness about employment in Japan’ with Korean college students attending universities in Korea and Korean students studying abroad in Japan. As a result, they had a positive attitude toward employment in Japan, where employment is relatively smooth compared to Korea, On the other hand, among the Japanese companies that held corporate briefings in Korea, black companies that were taking advantage of the employment difficulties in Korean society were also mentioned as a realistic inside story. It is impossible to predict the end of Korea's employment difficulties, but a realistic look at the problems of this serious situation and improve them so that young people and job seekers in Korea who want to get a job in Japan or related companies will not get harmed is imperative. In addition, it should be operated as a system that can satisfy employment in Japan, and it is believed that the school should provide more thorough programs for employment in Japan, education to prepare for employment, and practical classes.
