本稿では、日本古典文学研究の現場において、今後の人文学研究を展望するために デジタル人文学に対する問題提起を試みた。特に日本近世文芸を研究してきた立場から、 ＜表現史＞の観点でデジタル人文学の可能性を打診しながら、デジタル人文学の観点から情報処理の力量を活用する際に研究対象として適合とされる江戸時代の連想語辞典『俳諧 類船集』の価値を再評価した。また、西鶴小説を分析した成果を手がかりにして古典文学 のテキストデータをデジタル人文学の方法でどこまで処理できるか、その可能性と限界につい て検討してみた。
Abstract
In this paper, I aim to provide critical points for consideration in future humanities research based on the current state of Japanese classical literature studies. From the perspective of someone who has studied early modern Japanese literature, I examined the possibilities and challenges of digital humanities from the viewpoint of the history of expression. I highlighted the value of the Edo-period associative dictionary "Haikai Ruisenshū" (俳諧類船集) as a research subject when utilizing the capabilities of information processing from an advanced digital humanities perspective. Additionally, I explored the possibilities and limitations of processing classical literature text data using current digital humanities methods
