본 논문은 2024년 12월 현재까지 한국에서의 계승일본어에 관한 연구 동향을 알아보고, 그 과제에 대해 고찰하였다. 조사 결과, 76편의 계승일본어 관련 논문이 추촐되었다. 현재까지 어떠한 연구가 이루어지고, 어떻게 발전해 왔는지를 상세하게 조사하기 위해, 약 6년마다 3개의 시기 IⅠ기 (2008-2013), II기 (2014-2019), III기 (2020-2024)]로 나누어 연구 동향을 분석하였다. 분석한 결과, 조사대상의 확대, 분석자료의 다양화, 자조모임에 의한 계승어 교육의 증가로 연구의 폭이 점차 넓어지고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, 계승일본어 연구의 과제가 5가지 지적되었다. 향후 다문화사회의 중요한 연구과제 중 하나로 계승일본어 연구가 더욱 발전할 것을 기대한다.
Abstract
This study investigates trends in studies on Japanese heritage language in Korea until December 2024 and examines the related issues. As a result, 76 studies on Japanese heritage language were identified. To analyze in detail what kind of research has been conducted and how it has developed so far, research trends were examined by dividing them into three periods of six years each: Phase I (2008-2013), Phase II (2014-2019), and Phase III (2020-2024). As a result, it was confirmed that the scope of research has gradually expanded due to the expansion of survey subjects, the diversification of analytical materials, and the increase in heritage language education through self-help groups. On the other hand, issues in the study of Japanese heritage language were also identified, and five key issues were pointed out. In the future, as one of the important research topics in a multicultural society, I hope that research on Japanese heritage language will continue to develop.
