Abstract
The most important ceremony with funeral ceremony in India is wedding ceremony. It has more meaning in Hindu thought. It is not just an union of two lovers, but also a system for solidification and prosperity between two kinship groups. Movie is the most popular entertainment item for the people in India. And it contains peoples’ mentality on movie and peoples’ general wishes are reflected on movie. So it is a kind of evidence that the most successful movie commercially mean it has many popular items and it can be said that it reflects the spirit of belonging people or country. With these points, I have tried to find out the views on wedding of Indians. For this, I have chosen two periods, before and after in 1990s. Some views on wedding must have been changed during these times, but also some visual cultural items like music, dance, costume, architect.
