본 연구는 청소년기의 인터넷중독에 영향을 미치는 요인을 실증분석하기 위해 인과모형을 작성하여 연구가설을 검증함으로써 청소년들의 인터넷중독을 예방하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 본 연구가설에 포함된 개방형 의사소통, 폐쇄형 의사소통, 가족응집성, 가족만족감, 자아존중감, 인터넷중독 등의 요인으로 구분하여 그것들 간의 관계를 설명하면 다음과 같다. 본 연구결과 아버지와 자녀와의 의사소통이 가족의 응집성 및 가족만족감에 미치는 영향이 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 나타났다. 뿐만 아니라 자녀들의 자아존중감 형성에도 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있다. 특히, 부-자녀간의 감정이입적이고 지지적인 의사소통이 이루어질 때 가족 간의 정서적 결속력이 높아지는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 부-자녀간의 지지적이고 개방적인 의사소통이 자녀들의 가족에 대한 만족감을 향상시키고 자녀들의 자아존중감 형성에도 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있음을 알 수 있다. 이러한 결과는 청소년기의 아버지 역할의 중요성을 부각시켜 주는 것이다.
Abstract
This study is to frame a cause and effect matrix to analyze the factors causing internet addiction at adolescent period, and the matrix verifies thesis, so that teenagers’ internet addiction can be prevented. This study’s thesis includes opened-communication, closed-communication, family cohesion, family satisfaction, self-respect, and internet addiction, and this study also explains relations between the factors. The result of the study indicates that the communication between fathers and children has a meaningful relationship with family cohesion and family satisfaction in a statistic manner. Moreover, the relationship has important influence to children’s building self-esteem. Especially, when father-children communication has empathy and supporting environment, emotional cohesion among family members is promised. Supporting and opened communication between father and children can increase satisfaction to family and influences children’s developing self-esteem, positively. This result emphasizes how important father’s roll is at adolescent period.
