전라북도 주민들의 삶의 만족도 결정요인 분석 - 개인요인과 지역요인을 중심으로 -

본 연구는 전라북도민들의 삶의 만족도에 어떠한 요인들이 영향을 미치는지를 분석하기 위해 개인 요인과 지역 요인들을 중심으로 삶의 만족도의 관계를 분석한 것이다. 이를 위하여 전라북도민들의 삶의 만족도를 건강 측면, 가정생활 측면, 전반적인 측면으로 세분화하고 각 요인들의 영향력은 위계적 회귀분석을 사용하여 단계적으로 살펴보았다. 분석결과, 전라북도민들의 삶의 만족도를 결정하는 요인들은 첫째, 개인요인에서는 교육수준과 월평균소득수준이 모든 삶의 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 나이와 직업은 건강측면의 삶의 만족도에만 각각 부(-)와 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 여가활동을 통한 삶의 질 향유수준은 모든 삶의 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미침을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 지역요인 중 물리적인 공간(지역환경)을 의미하는 시군여부와 지역인프라 중 문화여가환경은 가정생활 측면과 전반적인 측면에서 삶의 만족도에 부(-)의 영향을 미쳤고. 이에 비해 주민편의시설환경은 두 만족도에 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 주었다. 그리고 지역인프라 중 주택환경은 모든 삶의 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미쳤고, 의료환경은 가정생활 측면에, 사회안전환경은 건강측면의 삶의 만족도에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지역요인 중 지방정책적 요인인 문화관광 발전은 건강측면과 전반적인 측면의 삶의 만족도에 정(+)의 방향으로 영향을 미쳤다. 이에 따라 지방자치단체 차원에서는 전라북도민들의 삶의 만족도를 제고하기 위하여 의료서비스 수준을 높이고, 질적으로 주택환경을 개선하며, 주거환경 중 녹지환경과 편의시설 접근성, 사회안전성을 높이는 것이 필요하다. 또한, 주거환경 중 문화여가환경을 균형있게 조성하고 이용부담을 줄이면서 편의성을 증대하는 것이 요구된다. 마지막으로 전라북도의 강점인 문화관광정책을 지속적으로 발전시키고 기타 기반시설 강화, 농식품 확대, 지역산업 정책 등도 강화하여 균형잡힌 지역발전을 추구하는 것이 필요하다.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze factors determining life satisfaction focusing on individual and regional factors. In order to analyze, theoretical rationale on life satisfaction are categorized into individual, regional infrastructure, regional development policy factors. As a result of analysis, education, economic incomes, occupation, facility convenience, housing, medical service, security infrastructures, culture and tourism development policy factors affect life satisfaction positively. But age, region, culture and leisure factors affect life satisfaction negatively. Policy implication are as follows. First, resident-oriented regional infrastructure such as housing, medical service, greenland, facilities, security should be built. Second, regional development policies including culture and tourism development policy are to be more facilitated.
