장애학생 대상 또래교수에 관한 국내 연구동향과 중재 효과의 고찰

본 연구는 장애학생을 대상으로 또래교수를 실시한 국내의 연구논문들을 분석하여 전반적인 연구동향을 파악하고 중재내용과 효과에 대해 구체적으로 분석하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 총 23편의 논문을 선정하였으며, 구체적으로 연구 대상, 방법, 상황, 중재유형, 효과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 초등학생과 영유아 연령의 정신지체, 학습장애 학생을 대상으로 한 연구들이 다수를 차지하고 있었다. 연구 방법은 단일대상연구와 실험통제집단연구를 수행한 논문이 다수였으며, 연구 환경은 주로 통합학급에서 중재가 이루어졌고 과목은 대부분 읽기와 수학, 놀이와 의사소통 영역에서 중재가 이루어졌음을 알 수 있었다. 또래교수의 중재 유형은 동급학생 또래교수를 중재로 적용한 것이 다수인 것으로 나타났고, 중재 효과 측면에서는 또래 학습자와 또래교사에게서 학업적, 행동적, 정서적 이득을 효과로 보고하고 있었다.
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to review the recent literatures on using peer tutoring in the special education settings and to identify research trends and educational effectiveness appeared in the research. The search procedures through the Web-database system were implemented to find the proper research, and a total of 23 articles were included in this review. The results indicated as follows: First, most of subjects were preschoolers and elementary students, and they have a variety of disabilities. Second, single-subject design and experimental group design were widely used for research design. Third, most of research were implemented in the inclusion classroom, and on the basic academic subjects and activities. Fourth, same-age peer tutoring was widely used as a type of intervention. Fifth, peer tutoring was founded to be effective in improving academic, behavioral, and emotional effectiveness for students with disabilities and without disabilities. Implications and recommendations based on the results were suggested.
