본 연구는 성인 장애인의 장애수용 및 장애정체감, 사회적 지지가 비전통적 진로효능감 및 진로흥미에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 사회인지진로이론에 근거하여 탐색해보았다. 연구 대상자는 수도권에 거주하는 성인 장애인 208명으로 정신, 발달, 지적 장애를 제외한 신체 장애인이면서 정규직 직업을 가지고 있지 않은 사람들이었다. 장애수용 척도, 장애정체감 척도, 사회적 지지 척도를 사용하였으며, 본인이 고려하고 있는 직업을 자유롭게 쓰고 각각에 대한 자신의 효능감과 흥미를 보고하도록 하여, 장애인 인구 내에서 비전형적 혹은 비전통적으로 여겨지는 직업에 대한 효능감과 흥미를 측정하였다. 각 변인들 간의 상관분석을 수행하고 사회인지진로이론에 근거하여 설정한 연구 모형을 검증하기 위한 적합도 분석 및 직접, 간접 효과 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 연구에 사용된 모든 변인들이 유의미한 상관을 보였으며, 연구 모형은 지지되었다. 장애수용이 장애정체감에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 장애수용을 통해 예측된 장애정체감은 다시 비전통적 진로효능감을 매개로 비전통적 진로흥미를 예측한다는 간접효과가 확인되었다. 사회적 지지는 장애정체감을 예측하였고, 비전통적 진로효능감에 대해 장애정체감을 매개로 한 간접효과가 유의미함과 동시에 직접효과 역시 유의미한 것으로 확인되었다.
Abstract
The current study examined how disability acceptance and disability identity of the disabled predicted nontraditional career self-efficacy and nontraditional career interest based on the social cognitive career theory. This study put special emphasis on the self-efficacy and the interest of the occupational choice considered untypical or unconventional, and on which pathway social support was related to. Participants consist of 208 disabled adults with no permanent position(metal disorder, developmental disability, and mental retardation were excluded). The questionnaire of disability acceptance, the questionnaire of disability identity, and the social support inventory were used. The participants were required to report how much they felt competent and interested in each occupation they were considering. As a result, each of the variables in the study were correlated. Disability acceptance affected disability identity, which subsequently predicted nontraditional career interest mediated by nontraditional career self-efficacy. Social support predicted disability identity. Social support also had an direct effect on nontraditional career self-efficacy as well as an indirect effect mediated by nontraditional career self-efficacy.
