본 연구는 장애인 평생교육의 활성화를 위해 특수교사를 대상으로 인식과 요구를 알아보는데 목적을 두었다. 특수교사를 대상으로 설문지와 인터뷰를 통하여 장애인 평생교육에 대한 전반적인 인식, 프로그램의 개발과 운영, 프로그램의 활성화를 조사하였다. 214명의 특수교사를 대상으로 한 자료를 배경 변인별 기술통계와 독립표본 t-검정, 일원배치 분산분석, 사후 검증을 하였다. 또한, 이에 대해 추가적으로 10명을 대상으로 한 인터뷰자료를 분석하여 장애인 평생교육의 활성화에 관한 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 특수교사 양성과정에서 장애인 평생교육에 대한 필요성이 제기되었다. 둘째, 지속적인 교육 대상자들의 요구를 수용한 프로그램 개발이 필요하다. 셋째, 장애인 평생교육 활성화를 위해 특수교육과의 협력 체제가 필요하며, 프로그램을 활용할 수 있는 전문가 양성이 필요하다고 제기하였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 장애인 평생교육 활성화에 대한 방안을 논의하였다.
Abstract
This study aimed to investigate revitalizing for lifelong education program for disabled to special education teacher’s perception. Investigate and interview to Special education teachers’ perception and knowledge lifelong education for disabled, development and utilize program of lifelong education for disabled, operation activation plan to lifelong education for people with disabilities by special education teachers. 214 special education teachers were surveyed South Korea. They participated in a survey and a group of 10 attended multiple focus group interview sessions. The study findings are as follows: First, subject of life long education for disabled needs educate in training for special education teacher. Second, it is necessary to develop program that accommodates students with disabilities. Third, network for life long education teacher and special education teacher and training for expert for life long education. Based on the findings of this study. the author proposed suggestions for improving revitalizing for lifelong education program for the disabled.
