초록

본 연구의 목적은 성인 지적장애인의 생활기술 함양을 위한 신체활동 프로그램 개발과 실행에 대한 선행연구의 후속 연구로서, 연구참여자들의 생활기술 함양이 어떠한 과정과 요인에 의해 나타났는지에 대해 심층적으로 탐색해 보기 위함이다. 프로그램이 실행됨에 따라 연구참여자들의 생활기술 함양에 영향을 미친 요인은 환경적, 내용적, 관계적 측면으로 범주화되어 분류되었다. 구체적으로 환경적 측면(모두에게 지지받는 프로그램의 환경)은 동료를 만날 수 있는 공간, 참여를 촉진하는 교보재, 존중받는 수업 분위기가 영향을 미치는 요인으로 나타났다. 내용적 측면(자존감을 높여주는 프로그램의 내용)으로 교학상장 활동, 목표실천 활동, 호명활동이 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 관계적 측면(협력할 수 있는 주변인과의 관계)은 행동과 태도, 참여 및 태도의 유발자로서의 지도자, 전략가로서의 부모, 조력자로서의 동료가 주요한 요인으로 나타났다. 따라서 이와 같은 본 연구 결과를 통해 생활기술 함양을 목적으로 한 신체활동 프로그램을 효율적으로 계획하고 실행하기 위해서는 환경적, 내용적, 관계적 측면에 대한 요인을 고려하고 반영해야 할 필요가 있다.

Abstract

This study is follow-up research on a previous study that explored the effects of a physical activity program on the enhancement of life skills for adults with intellectual disabilities. The purpose of this study is to explore the processes and factors that led to the enhancement of life skills among the participants. The factors that influenced the enhancement of life skills among the participants were classified into environmental (programs involving a supportive environment), content-related (program involving a content that increased self-esteem), and relational aspects (relationships with supportive individuals who can collaborate). Therefore-based on the results of this study-it is necessary to consider and reflect on environmental, content-related, and relational factors in order to efficiently plan and execute a physical activity program for the purpose of enhancing life skills.
