포스트휴먼 시대 교양교육의 위상과 방향 - 고려대학교 공통교양 과목 <자유정의진리>를 중심으로

Abstract

In the posthuman era, the concept of “human,” on which modern civilization has been built, is faced with a call for a radical transformation. In a radical era, liberal arts education should explore a new humanity of the posthuman era based on critical reflection on the history of civilization. The realization of such liberal arts education must be made in the direction of three aspects. First, it is necessary to develop interdisciplinary and convergent liberal arts education so that it provides an opportunity to make it possible to keep a distance from the legitimacy of disciplinary studies and to review the transmitted expertise in an interdisciplinary network. Second, it is necessary to develop a learner-centered innovative learning method so that learners can cultivate an attitude with which they internalize self-reflection and total insight. Third, it is necessary to develop core curriculum of liberal arts education in order to structure the balance and tension between major education and liberal arts education. This thesis examines the possibility of interdisciplinary core curriculum that applies innovative learner-centered teaching methods based on a new status of liberal arts education in the posthuman era. To this end, this thesis examines the practice of the common liberal arts class, Free·Justice·Truth of Korea University and explores the realization of liberal arts innovation in the posthuman era.
