百濟 漢城期의 石室墳 特徵과 性格 考察 ― 최근 발굴된 백제 석실분을 중심으로 ―

The Stone chamber tomb of Baekje has been recently excavated in the Midland and the Southern area around Gongju, Buyeo, Iksan, and Naju for many years. It, However, has been also excavated in the basins of Han river and its surrounded area. Especially The stone chamber tome of backjae found in the Han river has been noticed as important materials to fill the blank of Han Seong Era. The objective of this article is to find out the characteristics and features of The Stone Chamber Tombs of Baekje excavated in Seoul, Hanam, Seongnam, Hwaseong, Anseoung and Yeongi. The conclusions were followed:Firstly, no particular differences are found between the tombs of Hanseong Era and others found in traditional excavation areas. The remains were grouped in two-squared shape or rectangles depending the shape of their surfaces, comparatively wider in their sizes than the conventional tombs. Secondly, This article noticed that The tombs found in Woomyun-dong, Seoul Gwangam-dong, Hanam and in Pangyo-dong, Seongnam were structurally similar with The tombs of Geumhak-dong, Gongju. Some of the floor plan were built along left or right side of the tombs while the other were installed in the center. Most of the ceilings are dome type. Wall crafts were generally constructed on stone or raw material in the exterior. The front of the tombs is toward the north rather than the south. Burial accessories such as earthenware, ironware, and the precious metals were various while the numbers of those are small and restrictive. Compared to the previously found tombs, it has been estimated that recently found tombs were built during 5th century. It indicates the era that Baekje took this type of stone chamber tombs. I hope that this article will be helpful to compare and analysis not only the tombs from the same Baekje but also those from Goguryeo or Silla.
