윤동주와 대망서(戴望舒)의 시에 나타난 항일의식 비교 연구

Abstract

In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, China and Korea faced Japanese imperialism, leading to significant anti-Japanese struggles that marked transformative periods for both nations. The anti-Japanese poetry from both countries represents a crucial literary achievement in modern literature. This study compares the anti-Japanese poetry of representative poets Yun Dong-ju from Korea and Dai Wangshu from China. By examining Yun’s “Foreword,” “Eight Beats,” and “The Sad Tribe,” alongside Dai’s “Blessing of the Lantern Festival” and “With a Broken Palm,” the analysis explores their expressions of frustration and wandering as forms of anti-Japanese sentiment. Researching their shared steadfast belief in resistance, the study includes Yun’s “Easily Written Poem” and “Another Hometown,” as well as Dai’s “With a Broken Palm” and “Words Written on the Prison Wall.” Based on this analysis, the commonalities and differences in the anti-Japanese and resistance consciousness of Yun Dong-ju and Dai Wangshu are summarized. Both poets express personal frustration, wandering, and the hardships of anti-Japanese sentiment in their works. However, while Yun Dong-ju focuses on personal and internal expressions, Dai Wangshu confronts social realities more directly.
