‘사람이름 + -님//-이’의 의미 특성 고찰

Abstract

‘Personal name+-님/∅/-이’ are distributed over the same environment, but there are some different properties. And ‘-님/∅/-이’ carry a meaning of ‘grade’ whose difference raises the subject. ‘-님' has a grade of clear exaltation, but 'is not so in a ‘∅/ -이'. The element which expresses a grade of exaltation makes ‘-님' and the ‘∅/-이'. ‘-님/∅/-이’ are going to show a meaning related to this exaltation [±exalted]. As for the ‘-님/∅/-이’, what a speaker explains the element [±intimate] already decided on a mind. ‘-이' is able to have been described with there having been the phonic treatment and a variance form and having had a particular meaning role. The instance that ‘-님' is lately replaced with the thing corresponding to ‘-씨’. ‘-님/∅/-이’ are the items that are necessary for semantics to try to consider. As for this thesis, ‘-님' has the meaning that had in ‘∅/-i’ through a series of diachronic studies.
