漢字와 中國語의 模寫性과 理據 硏究

한자는 形·音·義가 한 음절로 나타나는 表意文字체계이다. 표의문자인 한자가 중국어에서 기능하는 역할은 표음문자에서 음소가 그 언어에 작용하는 역할과는 큰 차이가 있다. 중국어를 기록하는 한자는 중국어의 발전과정 속에서 줄곧 表意적 특징을 보여 왔다. 한자의 表意적 특징은 한자의 역사를 오래 유지할 수 있게 하였고, 중국어가 意合性이 강한 언어로서의 유형적 특징을 가지게 하는 것과도 관련이 깊다. 또한 한자의 表意적 특징과 중국어의 意合적인 유형특징은 한자와 중국어에 두드러진 模寫性과 理據와도 관련이 깊다. 본문의 주요내용을 다음과 같이 요약할 수 있다. (1) 模寫性과 理據는 다 같이 恣意性에 상대적인 개념이다. (2) 오랜 발전과 변천과정을 거치면서도 한자는 形·義 통일에 대한 理據를 계속 유지하고 있다. (3) 중국어에 보이는 의합적 특징, 단음절적 특징, 품사 다기능적 특징들은 한자의 사용과 밀접한 관련이 있다.
Abstract
Chinese characters has a semantic-symbol system in which a form, a sound and a meaning are expressed in one syllable. There is a considerable difference between the role of the Chinese characters, which is semantic symbols, in the Chinese language and the role of phonemes of phonetic symbols in the language that uses the phonetic symbols. Owing to this difference, the Chinese characters have been maintained for a long time and he Chinese language has a visible characteristic as a language having strong parataxis. In Chinese characters and Chinese language, an iconicity and a motivation are prominent because of the visible characteristic. This thesis makes an attempt to analyze a partial phenomenon of the Chinese language on the basis of the characteristics of the iconicity and the motivation of the Chinese characters and the Chinese language. This research can give a reasonable analysis from different angles on the portion of already described facts or on the portion that is still ambiguous in the Chinese language.
