This paper aims to examine the important issues of German verbformation. In this work the structure of derivative verbs of German will besystematically analyzed and classified. The derivative verbs must havethe basic word in the derivation. These verbs can have 3 basic wordsas part speech: noun, adjectiveand verb. From this result the followingcategorization of the derivative verbs: desubstantive verbs, deadjectiveverbs, deverbal verbs. The following briefly presents the content andresults of this study in the sequence of work. 1. According to the component of basic word the desustandive verbsare as follows classified: i) BS as subject ii) BS as subject predicateiii) BS as object predicate iv) BS as object v) BS as prepositional object2. According to the syntactic punktion of basic word the deadjectiveverbs are into 3 structures divided: i) BA as subject predicate ii) BAas object predicate iii) BA as adverbial funktion3. The sentence of deverbal verbs is according to syntactic funktionas in the following analyzed: i) AV as BV+machen /veranlassen ii)AV as mehrfach/ wiederholt/ein wenig iii) AV as the same valenz ofBV iv) AV as valenz change of BV.
